Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Why is my water data not syncing across devices?
A: Make sure WaterCue Pro is active and "iCloud Sync" is enabled in the WaterCue app settings. Additionally, verify that both devices are logged into the same Apple ID and have iCloud Drive enabled in iOS settings.
Q: Why am I not receiving hydration reminders?
A: First, ensure that you have granted WaterCue notification permissions. You can check this in iOS Settings → Notifications → WaterCue. Second, make sure your device is not in Do Not Disturb, Focus Mode, or Silent Mode during your scheduled hydration times.
Q: How do I customize my daily hydration target?
A: In the app, tap the Settings gear icon and update the daily goal field. Custom daily goals require WaterCue Pro.
Q: What do I get with WaterCue Pro?
A: WaterCue Pro unlocks iCloud sync across your Apple devices, all drink categories (tea, coffee, milk tea, and more), all cup shapes, and custom daily goals.
Q: Is my data private?
A: Yes. WaterCue stores your records locally on your device by default. We do not collect, sell, or share your data. Pro users can optionally enable private iCloud sync if they want multi-device access.
Q: Can I sync with Apple Health?
A: Yes. Enable "Apple Health Sync" in WaterCue settings to write your water intake records to Apple Health. WaterCue only writes data and never reads from Apple Health.
Q: How do I change my cup or app icon?
A: Open WaterCue settings and choose "Cup Shape" or "App Icon". Some shapes and icons are included for free; more are unlocked with WaterCue Pro.
Q: How do I request a refund for WaterCue Pro?
A: All subscriptions and purchases are securely processed and managed by Apple. To request a refund, please follow the official Apple guide: visit reportaproblem.apple.com, sign in with your Apple ID, select "I'd like to request a refund" and choose WaterCue.
